I loved the traditional Japanese breakfast-it was an amazing assortment of delicacies! The atmosphere and decor were fine too. Just a shame there weren't enough outlets in the room 😅

This place was definitely 'unique' with super cramped quarters, even for a single traveler. Breakfast was an absolute joke, partially inedible salt bombs. Shockingly, no complimentary gestures for my inconvenience. A little room upgrade would have been nice. I almost thought about leaving a good review but just couldn't.

The public bath was a highlight of our stay.
The hotel feels somewhat dated, reminiscent of a business hotel from the past, which might not meet everyone's expectations of a traditional ryokan.

great location but limited charging options
The location was fantastic. Just a short walk to Nishiki Market and easy access to public transport. I particularly enjoyed the traditional breakfast. It had a nice variety and was beautifully presented each morning. The men's onsen was also a clean and relaxing space where I could unwind after a day of exploring. My room had a lovely tea nook that added a charming touch to my stay.
